I came to Manor House Residential Care Home in April 2007 for a month's trial respite care and after great thought decided to remain so I have lived at Manor House for the last four and a half years. I can say that I have been content and happy here.

There are many criteria to think about when choosing to reside in a care home: the care provided, menus and food, size and location etc. Manor House to me is a family home and the love and care I have received here from everyone has been excellent. The Staff have shown such love and understanding even when busy - and that is often - always ready to listen, to help, to console, to advise and love.

I have always been encouraged to remain independent and even at 96, with the help of my Tri-Walker to get into the town.

I have a bright and airy room I can call my own - and retreat to it whenever I feel the need, and this, with the care given by all the Staff makes it very desirable, and a caring substitute for one's own home.

Vistitors are welcome at all times and join in with all our activities.
